Finzite uses a role-based access system to ensure users have the appropriate level of visibility and control based on their responsibilities. This helps protect sensitive information such as billing and subscription settings, while still allowing team members to access the data they need.
There are two primary access levels in Finzite:
Subscription Administrators
Store Users
Each access level provides a different level of control within the platform.
Subscription Administrators
Subscription Administrators have the highest level of access within Finzite. This role is typically assigned to account owners, founders, or senior team members responsible for managing the subscription and overall account.
Subscription Administrators can:
Access all stores linked to the subscription
View dashboards, reports, and financial data across all stores
Add or remove stores
Invite, manage, or remove users across the subscription
Assign and update user roles and permissions
Manage billing and subscription settings
View payment history and invoices
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the subscription
Delete the Finzite account
This role has full administrative control over the entire subscription.
Store Users
Store Users have access to one or more specific stores but do not have access to subscription-level controls such as billing or account management.
Store Users can access operational and reporting data depending on their assigned role. There are three Store User roles:
Store Viewer – Can view dashboards, reports, and configurations but cannot make changes.
Store Editor – Can view data and edit operational configurations such as cost settings, shipping fees, and integrations.
Store Administrator – Has full access to manage the store, including managing other users within that store.
Store Users cannot:
Access subscription billing or payment information
Modify subscription settings
Add or remove stores from the subscription
Delete the Finzite account
Why does Finzite use access levels?
Access levels help ensure:
Sensitive information is protected
Users only have access to the stores and features relevant to their role
Account owners maintain full control over subscription and billing settings
Teams can collaborate securely and efficiently
