How to integrate with Meta?

Connecting your Meta Business account to Finzite allows you to track advertising spend and measure true profitability across your campaigns.

Once connected, Finzite automatically syncs your Meta Ads data and combines it with your sales and cost data to calculate contribution margin and marketing performance.

What data does Finzite pull from Meta?

When connected, Finzite pulls:

• Ad spend

• Campaign performance data

• Conversions

• Revenue attribution (where available)

This allows Finzite to:

• Combine ad spend with Shopify and Takealot sales

• Calculate marketing efficiency

• Show true contribution after advertising costs

• Analyse profitability by channel

Before You Connect

Please ensure:

• You have Admin access to the Meta Business Manager account.

• The correct Ad Account is active and running campaigns.

• You are logged into the correct Meta account before starting the connection process.

Only users with sufficient permissions in Meta Business can complete the integration.

How to Connect Meta to Finzite

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Finzite account.

2. Navigate to Integrations from the left-hand menu.

3. Locate Meta Business in the list of available integrations.

4. Click Connect.

5. You will be redirected to Meta’s secure login page.

6. Log in using your Meta Business credentials.

7. Grant the required permissions when prompted.

8. Select the correct Ad Account you want to connect.

9. Confirm the connection.

Once completed, Finzite will begin syncing your advertising data automatically.

How long does it take for data to appear?

Data typically starts syncing shortly after the integration is connected.

Depending on your account size and historical data, it may take some time for all past data to populate.

If campaigns are active, you should start seeing ad spend reflected in your Dashboard and Contribution Report.

Where can I see my Meta data in Finzite?

After connecting Meta, you can view:

• Total Advertising Spend in the Dashboard

• Advertising breakdown in the Contribution Report

• Platform-specific performance in channel filters

Advertising spend will automatically be included in your Contribution calculations.

What happens if I disconnect Meta?

If you disconnect Meta:

• Finzite will stop syncing new advertising data.

• Historical data already synced will remain in your reports.

• Contribution calculations will no longer include new ad spend.

You can reconnect at any time.

Troubleshooting

My Meta data is not showing

Check the following:

• Confirm the integration shows as “Connected” in Integrations.

• Ensure the correct Ad Account was selected.

• Verify you have Admin permissions in Meta Business.

• Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.
