Connecting your Shopify store to Finzite allows you to automatically sync your sales, product, and order data in real time.

Once connected, Finzite consolidates your Shopify data into your Dashboard, Orders Report, and Contribution Report to calculate accurate revenue, cost, and profitability metrics.

What data does Finzite pull from Shopify?

When connected, Finzite securely syncs the following data:

  • Orders and order line items

  • Gross Sales and Net Sales

  • Discounts and returns

  • Shipping charges

  • Taxes (VAT)

  • Product and variant details

  • Fulfilment status

This data enables Finzite to calculate:

  • Sales Revenue

  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

  • Fulfilment costs

  • Gross Profit

  • Contribution (true profit)

Before You Connect

Please ensure:

  • You are the Store Owner or have Admin access in Shopify.

  • Your store is active.

  • You know your Shopify store URL (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com).

Only users with sufficient permissions can complete the integration.

How to Connect Shopify to Finzite

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Finzite account.

  2. Navigate to Integrations from the left-hand menu.

  3. Locate Shopify in the list of available integrations.

  4. Click Connect.

  5. Enter your Shopify store URL.

  6. You will be redirected to Shopify’s secure authorisation page.

  7. Log in to your Shopify account (if prompted).

  8. Click Install App or Approve to grant access.

Once approved, Finzite will begin syncing your store data automatically.

How long does it take to sync?

Initial syncing may take some time depending on:

  • The size of your store

  • The volume of historical orders

  • The number of products

Recent orders typically appear shortly after connection.

Historical data will populate progressively.

Where can I see my Shopify data in Finzite?

After connecting, your Shopify data will appear in:

  • The Dashboard (for high-level performance overview)

  • The Orders Report (for transaction-level analysis)

  • The Contribution Report (for detailed profitability breakdown)

You can also filter reports by sales channel if you have multiple integrations connected.

What happens if I disconnect Shopify?

If you disconnect Shopify:

  • Finzite will stop syncing new order data.

  • Historical data already synced will remain in your reports.

  • Contribution calculations will no longer include new Shopify sales.

You can reconnect your store at any time.

Troubleshooting

My Shopify data is not appearing

Please check:

  • The integration shows as “Connected” under Integrations.

  • You approved all required permissions.

  • Your Shopify store is active.

  • Your date filter in Finzite includes the period you are expecting to see.

If issues persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration or contact Finzite support.
