Finzite integrates with Takealot to automatically sync your order, sales, and fee data. This allows you to accurately calculate revenue, platform fees, fulfilment costs, and contribution margins.
The Takealot integration works by generating an API key in your Takealot Seller Portal and adding it to Finzite.
Step 1: Generate an API Key in Takealot
Log in to your Takealot Seller Portal.
Navigate to your Account Settings.
Locate the API or Integration Settings section.
Generate a new API Key.
Copy the API key.
⚠️ Important:
Store the API key securely.
If the key is lost, you may need to regenerate a new one.
Do not share your API key publicly.
Step 2: Add the API Key in Finzite
Log in to Finzite.
Navigate to Integrations.
Locate Takealot.
Click Connect.
Paste the API key into the field provided.
Click Save.
Once saved, the API key cannot be viewed again inside Finzite for security purposes.
How the Integration Works
After connecting:
Finzite syncs your Takealot order and sales data.
Platform fees and transaction charges are allocated per order.
Revenue and returns are mapped automatically.
All data flows into your Dashboard and Contribution Report.
This ensures your Takealot performance is accurately reflected alongside your other sales channels.
If Data Is Not Syncing
If your Takealot data does not appear:
Confirm the correct API key was entered.
Ensure the key has the necessary permissions.
Allow time for the initial sync to complete.
