Where are these Transaction fees applied?

Transaction fees are calculated and applied at an order level in Finzite.

This means that for each individual order, the system calculates the payment processing fee based on the configured percentage (or the exact fee pulled from an integration such as Shopify Payments).

For example:

• If your transaction fee is 2.9%, Finzite will apply 2.9% to the total value of each order.

• If Shopify Payments is connected, the exact processing fee for that specific order will be used instead of the configured percentage.

Applying fees at an order level ensures that:

• Profitability calculations are accurate per transaction.

• Contribution reporting reflects real payment costs.

• Margins are calculated correctly for each sale.

This approach provides a more precise view of your true operational profitability.
