The Default Shipping Fee is the shipping cost that Finzite applies when no other shipping conditions are met.
This fee will be used when:
No product categories with specific shipping rules have been assigned, and
No shipping aggregator (such as BobGo) shipment data is available for the order.
In other words, if an order does not match a configured category rule and there is no actual courier cost pulled from an integration, Finzite will automatically apply the Default Shipping Fee.
This ensures that every order still has a shipping cost included in profitability calculations, even if no advanced shipping rules or integrations are in place.
If you are using shipping categories or a shipping aggregator, those values will take priority over the Default Shipping Fee.
