If your store uses Shopify Payments, Finzite automatically detects this and applies the exact transaction fee associated with each Shopify Payments order.
When Shopify Payments is connected, Finzite maps the Shopify Order ID to the corresponding Shopify Payments transaction ID in the backend. This allows the system to pull the actual processing fee charged for that specific order.
As a result:
The exact Shopify Payments fee is allocated to the relevant order.
Manually configured transaction fee rules will not be applied to those orders.
Profitability calculations reflect the real payment processing cost instead of an estimated percentage.
This ensures more accurate Contribution reporting, as each order reflects the true payment fee charged by Shopify Payments.
If Shopify Payments cannot be automatically matched to an order, Finzite will fall back to your configured transaction fee rules.
