How do I remove a user or revoke access?

You can remove a user at any time if they no longer require access to your store or subscription. This is useful when a team member leaves your organisation, changes roles, or no longer needs access to Finzite.

Only Subscription Administrators and Store Administrators have permission to remove users.

To remove a user:

  1. Navigate to Administration from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on Users to view the list of users who currently have access.

  3. Locate the user you want to remove from the list.

  4. Click the three dots (⋯) next to their name to open the options menu.

  5. Select Delete User.

  6. Confirm the action when prompted.


What happens after a user is removed?

Once a user is removed:

  • They will immediately lose access to the store or subscription.

  • They will no longer be able to log in or view any data.

  • Their permissions and access will be permanently revoked.

This action does not delete any data, reports, or configurations associated with the store. It only removes the user’s access.


Can I re-add a user later?

Yes. If you need to grant access again in the future, you can simply invite the user again by following the Invite User process and assigning the appropriate role.


Tip: Restrict access instead of removing a user

If you only want to limit a user’s permissions rather than remove them completely, you can change their role to Viewer instead. This allows them to view data without making changes.
