The main difference between Subscription Users and Store Users is the level of access and control they have within Finzite.
Subscription Users have full administrative control over the entire subscription, while Store Users have access limited to specific stores and operational features.
This structure ensures that sensitive account and billing settings are restricted to authorised users, while allowing team members to access the data they need to perform their roles.
What are Subscription Users?
Subscription Users include Subscription Owners and Subscription Administrators. These users have complete access to all features and settings across the entire Finzite subscription.
Subscription Users can:
Access and manage all stores linked to the subscription
View all dashboards, reports, and financial data across stores
Add new stores or remove existing stores
Invite, edit, and remove users across the subscription
Assign and manage user roles and permissions
Manage billing information and payment methods
View subscription details, invoices, and payment history
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the subscription
Delete the Finzite account
Subscription Users are typically account owners, founders, or senior administrators responsible for managing the Finzite account.
What are Store Users?
Store Users have access limited to one or more specific stores within the subscription. Their permissions are focused on store-level operations and reporting.
Store Users can:
View dashboards and contribution reports for their assigned stores
Access product performance and profitability data
View or manage cost configurations (depending on their role)
Connect or manage integrations such as Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Takealot
Perform operational tasks related to store performance
Store Users cannot:
Access billing or payment information
Manage subscription settings
Add or remove stores
Cancel the subscription
Delete the Finzite account
Access stores they have not been assigned to
Why does Finzite separate Subscription Users and Store Users?
This access structure helps ensure security and proper account management by restricting sensitive subscription and billing controls to authorised users only.
It also allows businesses to safely give team members access to store data without exposing critical account-level settings.
For example:
A founder or finance lead would typically be a Subscription Administrator
A marketing manager might be a Store Editor
An analyst might be a Store Viewer
This ensures each user has the appropriate level of access based on their role.
